KistuLab is a free, student-led innovation ecosystem designed to help students discover their career passions, build real-world experience, and connect with opportunities. Students can create or join innovations, work on real projects, get mentored by C-level talents, and build portfolios that showcase their work.
Yes! Participation in KistuLab is completely free for students. Our mission is to empower students, not charge them. We only earn when we successfully provide placement opportunities like internships, gigs, or job offers. Organizations can also partner with us to sponsor students or fund innovation challenges.
After signing up, you can click "Create Innovation" to start your own project, or browse the "Join Innovations" page to explore existing projects. You can even browse innovations before signing up! Once you find something interesting, simply click to join and start contributing.
As you complete tasks and projects, the system tracks your progress and interests. After each project (whether completed or abandoned), you'll fill out a reflection questionnaire. Our career insights engine analyzes your completed tasks and reflections to help you discover your strengths, passions, and potential career directions.
The Talent Directory is a public showcase of student profiles, works, projects, and achievements. It helps connect students with opportunities including hiring, gigs, internships, job placements, scholarships, and collaborations. Your portfolio is automatically built from your project work.
C-level talents sign up as mentors and can join any innovation or project of interest. They provide mentorship, guidance, and real-life insights into professional processes. This ensures students learn from industry-relevant experience and understand how their ideas apply in real work environments.
That's okay! Even abandoned projects provide valuable learning. You'll still fill out a reflection questionnaire, and the insights gained help you understand what didn't work for you—which is just as valuable for career discovery as knowing what does work.
Your public profile in the Talent Directory showcases your work and achievements. Organizations browse the directory to find talent for jobs, gigs, internships, and collaborations. You can also apply directly to opportunities posted on the platform. We connect you when there's a match!
